SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Although Easter is officially March 31 this year, over 200 attended the Land Park Community Association’s second annual Bunny on the Green event on March 24. The event was at William Land Golf Course as another collaborative effort with the LPCA. Children eagerly greeted the Easter Bunny in their holiday attire while parents took memorable photos.

Another popular attraction was Tilly the Fairy who charmed little ones with her whimsical face painting. The Easter hat parade included prizes for Best in Show, Most Creative, Most Unique and Honorable Mention. Contest judges included Land Park’s Councilman Rick Jennings, Elijah Orr from Senator Angelique Ashby’s office and Kristina Rogers, president of the LPCA. Mr. Jennings announced the winners and handed out beautiful cookie prizes from Freeport Bakery.

The food was also popular. Mulligans Café hosted complimentary macaroni salad, hot dogs and mini pulled-pork sandwiches. LPCA members received free mimosas, as well.
